Subject: PhD position in cattle disease genomics

Dear colleagues,

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic PhD candidate for a position at
the Center for Animal Breeding and Genetics, KU Leuven, Belgium. This
research involves using cutting-edge tools in genomics and genetics to
explore the genetic basis of a disease in Belgian Blue cattle. The
candidate will collaborate with the research groups of Prof. Carole
Charlier at the University of Lige and Prof. Edwin Claerebout at Ghent
University.

Upon completing the PhD training program, the candidate will have developed
the skills necessary to become a scientist prepared for future challenges.
You will be conducting innovative research in genomics and bioinformatics,
collaborating with colleagues both within and outside the lab, and engaging
in the lab's daily activities. Additionally, you are encouraged to guide
master thesis students, participate in national and international
conferences and disseminate your research results in scientific
publications.
