The Plant & Animal Genome Conference / PAG 32 is designed to provide a forum on recent developments and future plans for plant & animal genome projects. Consisting of technical presentations, poster sessions, exhibits and workshops, the conference is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and applications on this internationally important project. There will be approximately 200 Workshops, 2,500 Abstracts, 1,200 Posters & 130+ Exhibiting Companies ... as well as social and networking opportunities. All in a relaxed and informal setting. 2025-02-16: Gordon Conference on Quantitative Genetics and Genomics
The 2025 GRC on Quantitative Genetics and Genomics is scheduled for February 16-21, 2025 at Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco, Lucca (Barga), Italy. The associated GRS is scheduled for February 15-16 at the same location.

Every three years, the Triennial is held somewhere in the United States. In 2025, the Triennial returns to sunny New Orleans – one of America’s favorite cities.

2025-03-11: Network Biology
The meeting covers a wide topical range focused on understanding the role of molecular networks for biological phenomena. It is intended to foster a cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas and approaches among experimental and computational scientists for using network science to understand diseases and phenotypes in animals and plants. The topic of "The Future of Network Biology" will be discussed by a panel of scientists at different career stages with complementary expertise on the topic. A number of internationally renowned leaders in the field will share their latest results, while the majority of oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts.

2025-03-29: AG2PI Single Cell Workshop
Single-cell (SC) genomics offers the opportunity to understand how gene expression contributes to important agricultural phenotypes at a cellular and molecular level, providing new opportunities for precision agriculture. To adapt such SC analysis approaches to improve genotype to phenotype prediction in agriculture, the agricultural community must collectively develop resources, such as harmonized sample and process records and workflows, to achieve the integrated analyses required. The goal of this workshop is to develop a community of agricultural researchers and data resource experts to address this challenge. The impact of a successful workshop will be the ability to effectively interpret and apply SC genomics knowledge to understand the contributions of cell types to complex agricultural phenotypes.

2025-04-08: Symposium: A single-step toward the future
This symposium is designed to be full of thought- provoking talks that will help to blueprint a ten- year plan for future research in Animal Breeding and Genetics, celebrating Ignacy Misztal’s career and achievements in Animal Breeding and Genetics as he takes his first step toward spending more time on his hobbies and less time at the University of Georgia.

2025-05-06: Biology of Genomes
The 2025 meeting will address DNA sequence variation and its role in molecular evolution, population genetics, complex diseases, comparative genomics, large-scale studies of gene and protein expression, and genomic approaches to ecological systems. Both technologies and applications will be emphasized. In addition, there will be a special session on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genome research.

2025-07-20: 40th International Society for Animal Genetics Conference (ISAG)
The 40th International Society for Animal Genetics Conference will be held in Daejeon, South Korea. It will be an excellent opportunity to bring together outstanding scientists, policy makers, professionals and students from interdisciplinary animal genetics fields to share the latest developments, meet old friends and form new partnerships.

2026-07-12: World Congress on Genetics Applied to Livestock Production (WCGALP)
This is the premier conference for researchers and professionals involved in genetic improvement of livestock. Delegates from around the world gather every four years to attend the scientific program and to network with colleagues. This builds on previous successful congresses in Madrid (Spain, 1974 and 1982), Lincoln (USA, 1986), Edinburgh (UK, 1990), Guelph (Canada, 1994), Armidale (Australia, 1998), Montpellier (France, 2002), Belo Horizonte (Brazil, 2006), Leipzig (Germany, 2010), Vancouver (Canada, 2014), Auckland (New Zealand, 2018), and Rotterdam (The Netherlands, 2022). The 2026 WCGALP will be co-costed by Iowa State University, University of California-Davis and University of Wisconsin- Madison.
