It may help if you define more precisely HUGE. How many pedigree records?
How many individuals and traits in data? is it a flat data file (rows for
individuals and columns for traits) or a long datafile (a record per
individual and trait)? Knowing this may help us understand and give you
more meaningful ideas Cheers Juan P.
