Comparative status of human and other mammalian genomes provides an idea
about how "fragmented/conserved" the latter are in relation to that of the
human. With reasonable number of genes mapped in chicken, is there any
indication that the avian genome is distinctly more rearranged than the
hitherto studied mammalian genomes? If yes (which might appear to be more
likely?????), then has anyone recorded the degree of conservation as
compared to the humans and other studied species? Comments are welcome.

Thanks
