TP networking session with drinks.

Young Scientist CD Session : 16h -18h (CEST)

16h-16:10h - Introduction: format of the session and promote EFFAB & FABRE-TP
session.

16:10h-16:25h - History and author analysis of the World Congresses on
Genetics Applied to Livestock Production. Speaker: Van Eenennaam, A.L.

16:25h-16:40h - What the sector needs from an Animal Breeding Graduate .
Speaker: Byrne, T.J.

16:40h-17:40h - Panel discussion Young scientist career development.
Speakers: Daniela Lourenco, Jennie Pryce, John Hickey and Johan van Arendonk.

17:40h-18:00h - Official WCGALP wrap-up & handover to Craig Lewis with short
break.


EFFAB & FABRE TP session : 18h– 19:30h (CEST)

18:00h-18:05h - Who/what is EFFAB & FABRE TP & how can they help young
scientists.  Speaker: Craig Lewis.

18:05h-18:20h - "A 40-year career in (pig) breeding". Speakers: Egbert Knol
and Pieter Knap

18:20h-18:45h - "Me in a minute" – short career snapshots from a range of
speakers highlighting diversity of career paths in animal breeding Speakers:
Hugo Toledo, Ross Houston, Ashie Norris, Nadine Buys, Mirjam Spoelstra,
Clotilde Patry, María Martinez, John Cole, Katrijn Peeters and more TBC.

18:45h-19:30 h - Wrap up speeches + Networking session with drinks.
