GEroNIMO funded PhD position at the University of Lisbon

We are pleased to announce the availability of one Ph.D. position in the
field of epigenetics and reproduction in the framework of a collaborative
project GEroNIMO, funded by H2020 program at the University of Lisbon,
Portugal.

Context: Effect of epigenetics in the control of prolificacy in swine
breeds.

Purpose and scope of the PhD project:

To understand the role of DNA methylation in the regulation of prolificacy;

To extend the knowledge regarding the gene networks involved in the
regulation of prolificacy.

The candidate is expected to work in close collaboration with the
researchers from the faculty and  with other partners of GEroNIMO.
Candidates must have experimental capabilities and a degree in Veterinarian
Medicine or Veterinarian studies which can be automatically recognised in
Portugal.
