Event detail for review:
March 29-3, 2025
SHORT COURSE
Location: Orlando, Florida
Lecturer
Scopes: Single-cell (SC) genomics offers the opportunity
to understand how gene expression contributes to
important agricultural phenotypes at a cellular
and molecular level, providing new opportunities
for precision agriculture. To adapt such SC
analysis approaches to improve genotype to
phenotype prediction in agriculture, the
agricultural community must collectively develop
resources, such as harmonized sample and process
records and workflows, to achieve the integrated
analyses required. The goal of this workshop is to
develop a community of agricultural researchers
and data resource experts to address this
challenge. The impact of a successful workshop
will be the ability to effectively interpret and
apply SC genomics knowledge to understand the
contributions of cell types to complex
agricultural phenotypes.
