Physics of Animal Health

Scopes: Aimed at developing collaborations between physicists and biologists to solve key research questions in animal health. Discussions will focus around strategic research areas which impact on disease resistance, food security and safety. The structure of the workshop is intended to demonstrate the insights which may be gained from studying the physics of animal health and the resulting impact that can be achieved. As well as plenary talks there will be sessions designed to seed the development of new collaborative projects. Key areas of interests: * Mechanisms of disease resistance * Impact of biological structure on disease * Enhanced breeding technologies. Registration Deadline:
